よくある質問
Are my files really not uploaded?
Correct. Open your browser DevTools (F12) → Network tab during compression. You will see no upload of the image data.
How much can I compress?
It depends on the image and settings, but at quality 80 most JPG images shrink by 30–70% with no visible quality loss.
Will quality drop?
At ~80% quality the difference is generally invisible to the human eye. Use the slider to balance size and quality.
Can I use this on a phone?
Yes, though processing many large files at once is more reliable on a desktop browser.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser. No installation, no sign-up, works on any OS.
Is PNG transparency preserved?
Yes — when output is PNG. If you switch the output to JPG, transparent areas are filled with white.
Where are compressed files saved?
Your browser saves them to its default downloads folder. Nothing is stored on a server.
